Dynasty Gallery uses FUSION, MOUTHBLOWN, and LAMPWORK/TORCHWORK:

Blown glass is when the glassmaker literally “blows” air into the molten glass to manipulate shapes. Temperatures of blown glass can exceed 2000 degrees. Example – Vases.

Fusion Glass or “warm glass” is a technique in which a glassmaker joins different colors of molten glass or various glass objects to create a solid unified piece of glass art. Temperatures range between 1100 and 1700 degrees, which is why it is considered “warm”. Example – Jellyfish paperweights.

Lampwork, now referred to as Flameworking or Torchworking (since oil-fueled lamps are no longer used), is when rods of clear and colored glass are melted with a torch, bit by bit, to create smaller and more delicate pieces. Example – the Glassdelights Collection.
